This cultivar of the American Lime is of garden origin, and came from Nebraska, USA, in the mid 1920s.
This medium, pyramidal tree, this cultivar is barely sensitive to aphids and the associated 'dripping', which makes it an ideal lime for street and avenue plantings.
The large leaves, which are lighter green than those of the species, turn pale yellow in autumn.
